First J got angry at C and after having some alone time came out and said "I'm sorry, can I give you a hug?" So cute to watch.
Then C didn't listen and broke something she wasn't supposed to be playing with and got mad at me for taking the broken item away. She had her time to calm down and then came out of her room and brought a variety of plated plastic foods and cups. She sat them all down on the table and said "I'm sorry Mommy I should have listened, but I made you 'nummies' now." Now of course I'd rather she listened to begin with but I definitely thought this was a very sweet gesture.
Finally it seems C has learned from the best. Hubby and I got in an argument and he had to leave to take his Dad to the airport before we could work it out. When he got home though he surprised me with Italian food and a couple new movies, along with an apology. It was sooo good (even though a bit against my diet) and so nice of him.
I wish we always all got along, but I've realized that the second best thing is that we always make the most of making up. I hope my kids remember this for years to come :)
They can't be sweet all the time though they are a lot of the time :P
