Luckily the kids provided me something amazingly wonderful to write on today. I laid E on her mat and seconds later I see this (pic below)! C and J brought over one of the awesome presents from Aunt Jill that we got while in NC and were playing with E. This wasn't posed and I had to sneak up to take a pic. My heart melted seeing this show of acceptance and C and J welcoming E into their club, into their play world. C having her arms over her two siblings just made it even more perfect.
The kids have played with E before but often she ends up more like one of the toys that excite the kids then an equal. Also the 2/3 year age difference is so much different than the 1 year where C and J became equals so quickly and often seem like twins now versus they seem so big compared to their baby sis in terms of size and age. It's a whole new ball game but this was a huge step and I know as E gets bigger, more talkative, and more mobile they will all have even more fun together.
I am so very blessed!
