With Daddy

Daddy was watching cooking videos with K asleep on him and the rest of the crew decided to crowd around and drool with him lol. This all resulted in a special breakfast for all of us the next day too! (and yep Daddy is glaring at me for taking the pic and E stripped to diaper lol but still cute)

5 Months of Princess K!

Happy 5 months to my littlest princess K, today :)

I'm still can't believe K is already 5 months. She is amazing, beautiful, smart, and active, just like her big siblings, but definitely one of a kind too. The big development this month has been more and more interaction with her big lil sis E. The two of them have an amusing sweet repertoire which I can't wait to watch develop more. E calls her ReRe and now ReRoo as well and must give "her baby" kisses first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. I love it! And though E is still the "BIG" lil' sis, they are sharing a lot of the same size clothes these days. K is doing great on the mobility and is trying to catch up with E as fast as she can. I hope she doesn't go too fast though since I still love the snuggly baby stage too :)

At 5 months K is:

-Crawling lots but spending more and more time on all fours
-Standing up holding on to things, loves to practice while holding on to fingers
-Still exclusively Breastfed on demand
-Is sleeping through the night still usually
-Baby talking and squealing lots but the main "word" sound is Hi and a Mmmmm I hope turns into Mama :P
-Grabbing everything and anything she can get too, which is anything not high off the floor, though since E has started climbing up to get her things that's almost everything
-Interacting with all her siblings a lot but seems to have the true partner in crime in E, and the protector in C, while J just wants to snuggle her and tell everyone how much K loves him
-Has more hair than the big sibs had at this point still, though it has thinned some, it's got some curl and is strawberry blonde
-Still has blue eyes, for now
-Loves the Johnny Jump Up still but enjoys standing practice more
-Still has the precious pout to get her way but uses her sparkling smile more often
-Is a super sweet baby, Mama's girl still but getting better at getting used to other people and just loves to be where she can see the big siblings, she can't wait to join in their big kid fun (schooling) it seems and dinner (she grabs at everything as I said) but she'll still need to wait 1 more month on that one

5 year Wedding Anniversary

5 years ago today, on another Sunday, on a windy mountainside in North Georgia, I married my best friend, soul mate, and love of my life. We've been through lots in the last 5 years, including being blessed with four beautiful babies and today he still melts my heart, keeps me sane, is always there for me, and is an amazing man, father, and friend. These first 5 years went so fast, I can't wait to see what the next 5, and the next 50 have to hold :) ♥
We had my friend, assistant midwife for K's birth, who's also a photographer take this picture for us to celebrate the year (thanks to pinterest for the inspiration). The plan is to get a picture taken of just the two of us every 5 years to compare looking back :)

Pre-Anniversary Adventure

Part of our pre-anniversary fun today hubby gave me a tandem hang gliding flight. Still figuring out if I'll have the guts to do it again but was definitely an adrenaline rush and fun new experience
I'll put more thoughts on the experience here later as I'm digesting it

Happy 18 months E!

Happy 18 months to my amazing, loving, beautiful, stubborn, expert mess maker, climber, comedian, and sweetheart E!

I see so much of her personality in these pics. E's always taking people in, figuring them out, deciding what she wants to lt them know she knows, and planning her ways to show both her sweet and sassy sides. She's beautiful, an awesome loving sister, way too smart for her own good, and of course trouble lol.

More Crawling

Pretty baby is on the move, crawling faster every day. Right now it seems like she's trying to walk on all fours more than crawling on her knees a lot of the time :)

I love her blue green eyes so much, and that little smirk behind them just gives you a tiny glimpse at her BIG personality. Such a sweetheart but also lots of trouble lol

9 years ago

9 years ago today, DH and I became official (aka he asked me to be his girlfriend) the rest is history :P (and our actual wedding anniversary is in 2 weeks). Crazy how fast the last 9 years went by and how wonderful things have gotten (definitely better than I ever could've imagined). I'm so blessed to have him sharing this love and life with me. :)

Crawling Progress

K is getting better at crawling every day so expect lots of pics of that this month.

Also E has been getting back on all fours to help K along, after walking and running after her big sibs for the past 10 months or so lol. It's very sweet to watch all my beautiful babes grow and interact. I am so blessed :)
