First Crochet Dress

This is my first attempt at a main piece of clothing (aka not an accessory:hats, scarves, shoes, etc.) and I love how it turned out. Fits 8.5 month old E perfectly though is a little short for Fall/Winter wear it's perfect in this heat and I may add a few rows later to the length. I love the color that I chose to bring out the blue in E's eyes and the pattern only took a tiny bit over 1 skein and 2 days of crocheting (when I could of course in between juggling my other mommy and wife stuff).

I will definitely be making more of these! Here's some pics followed by pattern link and my adjustments along with the first 2 steps of another raveler to adjust from newborn to 9-12 month size.

1. Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in the next (3) 5, 3dc (corner made), DC in next (7) 9 chs, 3dc (corner made), dc in next (11) 13, 3dc (corner made), DC in next (7) 9, 3dc (corner made) Dc in the last (5) 7. Ch 3 turn.

2. Dc in the next (5dc) 7dc. CORNER, dc in the next (9) 11, CORNER, dc in the next (13) 15, CORNER, dc in the next (9) 11, CORNER, dc in the last (6 sts) 8 sts. Ch 3, turn.
