The Menagerie: Dogs

So continuing in introducing the rest of our zoo. A few weeks ago MIL got her 10 week old puppy on a Friday (5-18), the SIL's got their 5 month old rescue dog Saturday morning, and hubby and I picked up our family's 9 week old puppy (born 3-21) Saturday afternoon (5-19).

So this is our family dog, Shade. She's a White German Shepherd. We chose her name because of her love for staying in the shade. She will actually follow you around staying in your shadow if she can't find another dark cool spot to relax in. And of course like my other girls she's a Daddy's girl too.

This is MIL's Newfoundland puppy Beauregard aka Bobo and Bozo which will be colossal (as you can tell comparing to Shade who is almost the same age) and we hope to get water rescue training though at the moment may be the only Newfie not to really enjoy water. He does absolutely adore the kids though and wants to nanny them (some people say that Nana in Peter Pan was a Newfie).

And this sweetheart/teenager is Bobby (the name he came with), SIL's German Shepherd mix. He's a sweetie but he is in the teen mode and still working out some lessons as well.

Here's all three together at the vet. It's a big house and everyone has their own families and spaces and can then come together as well but 3 dogs in one weekend.....yep we're nuts but it has been fun at times too.
