9 years ago

9 years ago today, DH and I became official (aka he asked me to be his girlfriend) the rest is history :P (and our actual wedding anniversary is in 2 weeks). Crazy how fast the last 9 years went by and how wonderful things have gotten (definitely better than I ever could've imagined). I'm so blessed to have him sharing this love and life with me. :)

C/Princess/Nanna- my beautiful 8 year old daughter, into everything, thinks she knows everything, and constantly amazing us with all she does know, say, and do, Daddy's girl and Mommy's Mini-me; loves reading anything and everything she can, learning (practicing all her lessons and doing her homeschool work daily) playing soccer, reading, singing, and pineapple, also loves being the big sis and mini-mommy watching out for and setting an example for her little brother and sisters and often shows a little bit of a bossy streak at times, but is so compassionate and loving in everything she does too
J/Jojo/Handsome- my handsome 7 year old son (1 year and 2 days younger than big sis) who's the perfect big brother, has a mischievous streak and a dimpled grin which he uses to get his way often, Mama's boy and currently wants to be just like Daddy; loves sports, Building anything with everything he can find, protecting his little sisters, and hugging Mommy.
E/Blessing/Bunny/Ewok-Our third little one, second daughter, who is 5 and arrived September 2010 via unmedicated hospital VBA2C! Favorite activities are singing, drawing, and learning to read. Another one too smart and clever for her own good. My dramatic left handed curly top who is smaller than her next little sis but always trying to prove she's as big as her big sibs :)
K/Bee/Rina/ReeRoo/KB-Our fourth little one, third daughter, who joined our family October 2011, via HBA2C/2VBA2C and is now 4! My most physically advanced, and most quiet child, who has taught me so much and showed me at child #4 I still had a lot to learn ;) She has pretty much claimed this old poem as her own: "There was a little girl who had a little curl right in the middle of her forehead, and when she was good she was very very good, but when she was bad..." At 4 years old she just wants to please and keep the peace but being quiet also has the easiest time sneaking around and getting in trouble faster than you can blink ;)
Little L/Lea/LeeLoo-5th little one, 4th daughter, our surprise gender baby, also born at home (at our new home) in June 2013. The sweet easy going little one we needed after the whirlwind which is K. At 2 she fits in wonderfully with our crazy crew, has developed her own dramatic flare, is way too cute and she knows it, and has found her own individual connection with each of her siblings, easily forging her way into all our hearts :) She is also an amazing big sister already to W and though loves her mama still always puts "her baby" first.
Baby Birdie/W-6th baby, 5th daughter, born at home in what I call my hurricane birth in June 2015, so fast our midwife almost missed it by 5 minutes. Right now on the move and only slowing down for nursing and napping (which is getting more rare too). She reminds me of J as a baby in looks but has a personality all her own for sure. She wants to be in the action at all times, whether that's walking around in a wrap or down on the floor crawling after everyone. Another perfect addition to our family who feels like she's been here forever and is much loved by all.
