Happy 10 months K-B

Happy 3 months K!!!!

My currently littlest blessing is 3 months old today! Crazy I know. She is still bigger for her age (closer to E's 4-5 month size) but C especially loves to go on about how sweet and tiny she is. She's still beautiful and showing off an amazing smile which lights up our lives (and is my favorite part of this age for sure). K is also branching out in her mobility with scoot crawling and pushing her arms up to sit independently for a little time. E is more than ready for "her baby" to start crawling after her and becoming a more interactive playmate. The glimmer in K's eyes when playing and being hugged and kissed by E makes me think she's excited to get to that point as well. She has us all still wrapped around her finger and is becoming smarter, cuter, and more fun with every day that passes. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next, though I'll also be stealing as much snuggle time before she gets too independent in the meantime and enjoy the newness as much as I can yet as she's growing so fast. At my fourth baby it's still just as amazing, incredible, and surprising as it was with my first. :)

At 3 months old K is:
-Exclusively Breastfeeding still (no bottles yet)
-Waking once a night which is manageable
-Likes to fall asleep with the lights on then have them turned off after she's already asleep
-imitating sounds, her current favorite sounds similar to Hi, and baby talking lot
-Smiling at everyone and laughing too
-Squealing and giggling with delight when she gets what she wants, whether that's a smile, getting picked up, kiss from the big sibs, or staying up a little later than Mommy might like
-Loving tummy time and practicing pushing up with her arms
-Able to scoot/crawl (crawl without the arms as much) several feet
-Able to sit up with her arms for support some
-Holding her head up well and turning to follow the siblings with her eyes and in reaction to sounds
-Thinning out a little but still got the precious oh so kissable chubby cheeks
-Grabbing toys, Mommy's shirt to pull me closer, and whatever else is left in reach and seems interesting lol
-Wearing 3-6month non-footed clothes, 6 month footed (today E proved they can share the 6 month size non-footed items as well lol)
-Loves to suck her fingers and fist at times though breast is best of course
-Has pretty dark blue eyes and her dirty blond/golden light brown hair which I'm still waiting to see if it falls out
-At 3 months 1/25 appt. she weighed 17lbs15oz (so 18lbs) and was 25 3/4inches long! (now between E's 5 and 6 month size, slowing down a little on weight gain and still super long)

J is 3 and 1/2 today

1 year and 2 days apart, of course means 2 days since C is 4.5 J is now officially 3 and a half years old. My precious baby boy is becoming more of a big boy and so much less toddler these days. He's definitely in the midst of the threes (I've mentioned before but terrible 2s is a lie, 3 is the challenging year) but he's also showing how smart and sweet he is, and his funny protective big brother personality more and more each day as well. So far he's shown a lot of interest in math and science though he still loves to be read too and do Monkey See Monkey do in following whatever Nanna (his nickname for C still) is up to. He still says he's a big brother and a little brother and a big boy and a little boy but I see more and more big with each passing day. I treasure the moments when he refuses to let Daddy or I leave until he can give us a hug and a kiss, and when he snuggles up next to me and falls asleep on the couch. He's definitely still got the Mama's boy streak while thinking no one is bigger or stronger than Daddy but I'm already seeing hints of so much more of the incredible child and someday man he will become.

23. What is the best thing about grandparents? They can make food really fast that we can eat, it's the best thing I like them to do

24. If you could ask for one thing, what would you ask for right now? If Nanna would share her toys with me

25. Is there anything you want to tell yourself when you become a grown up someday? Ya, it can be a hard day but I'll be very big and maybe there will come another little Jojo to make him happy too

C, my princess is 4 1/2!!!!

I am in awe my princess is 4 and 1/2 (we are now closer to 5 than 4 eek!) and she's still constantly amazing us. My mini-mommy is still so caring, smart, sweet, and exciting. She definitely has her 4 going on 14 moments still but I love my beautiful sweet big girl so much. She loves to sing, dance, read, draw, and of course snuggle and protect all of her little siblings. She goes on and on about how sweet and tiny K is especially and how she has to set a good example for J and E.

And for this half birthday I'm going to try something new. I combined and configured my own questionnaire for the kids (J will do his in 2 days as well). I think the kids can tell me and themselves more looking back this way than I can do on my own. So here goes :) And will add pics later

1. How old are you? 4....and a half maybe....maybe, I'm halfway to my birthday. Mommy you know all I want for my birthday is the greatest birthday of mine of all, the greatest birthday yet.

2. What is something that makes you happy? That I love my brother

3. What is your favorite thing to do? Go outside and find flowers

4. What is something you're really good at? Cleaning up and playing afterwards and then putting the toys away again after that.

15. What is something silly that's happened recently? Jojo and Eva were playing hide and go seek and kept disappearin'

16. What is the most important rule? Help my brother and sisters and be nice to them and make sure they aren't doing bad things

17. What's something you like to do with Mommy? Help each other and go outside together and do school together

20. What do you want to be when you grow up? A princess that is waiting for her prince to come

21. Who are you going to marry? I don't know who he is until I grow up but if I don't find a prince right away, when he comes to me I'll know. I'll wait till my prince comes. I don't want to marry a toad.

22. What do you think you are going to name your children? Like if I'm the Mommy? I'll see what I want to name them, when I see them I'll know. Right now I'm not sure.

23. What is the best thing about grandparents? If they have pirate things to pretend I'm a pirate. Ami said she's going to buy things so we can play pirates soon.

24. If you could ask for one thing, what would you ask for right now? To send a card to Ami on my birthday, if it's okay for me to go out on the road with you so we can put it in the mailbox together that is. Is that okay? I want you to go out with me, just make sure to keep me safe and that there's no cars before we go to send Ami her card okay.

25. Is there anything you want to tell yourself when you become a grown up someday? That I remember when I was a kid and I want to still dance. And Jump!

16 months of Miss E

E is 16 months today! This is a busy week, C will be 4 and 1/2 tomorrow, J will be 3 1/2 two days after that and K will be 3 months a week exactly from today but E as always is starting the fun and making her presence known and heard amidst the crowd (so to say lol). Still my loudest sweetheart and most surprising yet (which I think is the case with each consecutive child, no matter how much you think you know you are going to be surprised and taught by them that much more). As is E becoming more daring, verbal, and more like Daddy honestly, she is teaching us more and more and showing her personality which is a combination of sweet sister, snuggle bug, daredevil, jokester, and general fiery sassy little miss.

She still will stop in the midst of any fit (even at her sleepiest) to come comfort "her baby" sis K. She loves climbing all over, chasing after, and pestering her big sibs into reading and playing with her, though they're more than happy to oblige. E is a mess at times, too smart for her own good often, and has a precious sweet disposition all making her so much fun for all of us to be around and learn more and more about as she becomes more and more of the clever little toddler with each passing day.

Can't wait to get to know this little girl she's so quickly becoming!

At 16 months E is:
-Singing a bit more than half of her ABC's and trying to do the signs along with all of them
-Loves to sing: Favorites include Itsy Bitsy Spider, Rise and Shine, Skinamirinky Dinky Dink, and of course If you're happy and you know it
-Still has her shy streak that she won't let new people know how much she knows till she feels like it (like Daddy and J)
-Is speaking more in fragments and sentences to us for example "Mommy up please" then "Baby Eva get down" for when she wants up and down. "Milk cup please." Eva Happy, Baby happy? (asking about K) etc.
-Loves to help around the house still, bringing diapers and throwing away dirty ones, putting clothes in the hamper (sometimes from the drawer), helping load the dryer
-Still loves to draw, she will sit and draw in her high chair for a good time while Mommy and Daddy are cooking or tote her magnadoodle or the bigs sibs' writing toys throughout the house with her
-Still loves to climb and thinks she's bigger and older than she is
-Loves playing peekaboo and hide and seek and to wear blankets like hooded capes then pop out from them and roar to surprise C and J....and Mommy and Daddy lol
-Still loves clothing, dressing up, has added more of C's clothing to her layers and the other day got into a drawer and got at least 10 pieces of clothing on her (Mommy couldn't find the camera before she started taking them off to put in the hamper though lol)
-Loves playing ball with the big sibs and Daddy
-Has much more hair but it's still see through and close to the same color as her skin, it also likes to stick straight up, she reminds Mommy of a Kewpie doll a little so cute
-Has 12 teeth (8 front, 4 molars)
-Has her stark big beautiful blue green eyes which change with the light, can hold a tear just at the edge as if frozen, and can get her way (and she's knows it)
-Thinks there's nothing she can't do and will try to prove you wrong if you tell her she can't but is a total sweetheart and always wants people to feel good first or more of to laugh, the second she figures out how to make you laugh, plus her kisses, and amazing eyes, she has you wrapped around her finger
